Mental Health Issues
On this topic about Mental health issues, we will be mainly focusing on three concepts that are Anxiety, Stress, Depression.
What are the Definitions
- Anxiety - Is a feeling of worry or concerned about something.
- Stress - Happens when you have a lot of pressure on you, for example if you have a deadline that you need to pass something agent but you think you wont be able to complete it on time.
- Depression - is a condition when an individual feels hopeless and sometimes very sad.
What are the Causes
- Anxiety - it can be cause by Mental or Physical condition, having Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder, etc.
- Stress - not completing assessments or business files, working long hours, a job that need you to work under dangerous conditions.
- Depression - loss of a loved one, being bullied, emotional abuse, being famous and not having enough personal space.
What are the Symptoms
- Anxiety - tiredness, dizzy, fast heartbeats, stomach ache, headache, etc.
- Stress - messes with thinking ability , emotions, and physical health,
- Depression - feel like you can not accomplish anything, less sleep, over eating.
How do you treat this problem
- Anxiety - visiting a therapist.
- Stress - Doing yoga or meditating, talking to other you love, do move activities you enjoy doing, use a stress ball, discuss your problems with the doctor.
- Depression - self positive talk, set goals you can accomplish easily, sleep more.
